Disposable dust masks are a simple but effective option to stop yourself inhaling dust, fumes, vapours or other potentially harmful airborne particles. These single-use masks are the go-to choice for so many trade pros and DIY users – grab them whenever you need them, and dispose of them when you’re done.
Wearing a disposable face mask will keep your mouth covered and prevent you from breathing in dust particles. It’s a lightweight and comfortable option, fitted with an elasticated head strap that allows you to put one on in an instant – perfect if you’re in a hurry.
You should always check that your disposable dust mask is suitable for the work you’re carrying out. Masks will have a filtration rating of FFP1, FFP2 or FFP3 – FFP1 offers the most basic protection against low-level and non-hazardous dust particles, while FFP2 and FFP3 offer higher levels of protection.
