This 13 A spur switch from Wessex Electrical is used to isolate your electrical component from the mains supply. The 1-gang model holds a single fused spur inside and the box has a fuse carrier to open when the switch needs to be tripped, preventing accidental activation.
The polycarbonate cover material is extremely strong and UV-resistant so it won't warp in the sun. The unit's IP66 ingress protection rating lets you know it has high moisture resistance, protecting the connectors from the elements. Therefore, it's safe to install outside the main house in garages, lofts or basements where leaks or rain could reach it.
The cover has a clip to keep the switch watertight when not in use and the switch has a light on it that illuminates when active so you can identify its status in dark work areas.
• Tough UV stabilised polycarbonate construction
• Push-out / knockouts on top, sides and bottom
• Switch spur can be removed without splitting enclosure
