The angle grinder is one of the most versatile tools in the box, and this Makita Cordless Angle Grinder is a compact, lightweight version with all the features of a larger, heavier piece of kit. It's useful for cutting, polishing, sanding, shaping or grinding almost any material and as there's no cord to cope with, it's great for use in smaller spaces.
An angle grinder is a very powerful tool - this one has a no-load speed of 10,000 RPM. It's easy to safely hold the machine with both hands as the high-comfort side handle can be fitted for left-or right-handed use. There's also an anti-restart function, so it won't catch you out if you accidentally leave it switched on when changing the battery or disc.
This model uses a Lithium-ion battery which is 40% lighter than a Ni-MH or Ni-Cad. Coupled with the battery's longer run-time, this means you can crack on with the job without tiring too quickly.
