If you're working on an older house or building that has plumbing fixtures made of both clay and PVC, you'll be in need of an adapter. If this is the case, try this clay-to-PVC flexible adaptor. It'll mean you can connect clay fixtures to new PVC fixtures without the risk of leaking or damage.
This adapter is adjustable, so it allows for different widths of pipe to be fitted - this means you won't need to force it, which could result in damage to the fixture. There's also a rubber seal on its inner rim to reduce the risk of leaking.
