This Einhell electric chainsaw is a handy, powerful and reliable tool - it'll cut down small trees, thin out scrub and saw firewood with ease, all with no fumes and less noise than a petrol alternative.
Powered by a 2000W motor, you can work with a chain speed of up to 13.5m/s and a cutting length of 37.5cm. High-quality, robust metal gearing ensures good power transmission and long-lasting performance, and you can tension or change the chain without tools.
There's an oil tank which automatically lubricates the chain as you use it. With a wide opening, it's easy to fill without the need for a funnel. You can also check oil levels at a glance, thanks to the tank's large window.
Kickback protection with an instant mechanical chain brake will stop the chain immediately if it rears up suddenly. There's a chain catch bolt as well, in case the chain comes off the rail. A robust claw stop ensures safe handling, and also serves as a pivot point when sawing horizontal trunks. A stress-relief clip protects the power cable too - all giving you peace of mind when you're using this Einhell GH-EC 2040 electric chainsaw.
